No, I don't sing in the shower, but I can see why that song would be good for it! It doesn't seem like it should be, but it's an earworm!
Oh I love that song. It's between that and 'Silent House' (another sad one) for my favourite of theirs. My friend and I used to think that it would make a good storyline for a movie. Possibly because there are already about a million movies with a reasonably similar storyline.
As for singing in the shower: yep. But usually more upbeat ones. Whatever's making me feel ridiculously happee at the time usually does it. Like 'Voodoo Child' by the Rogue Traders, or 'Hot n Cold' by Katy Perry. Yelly sort of songs. They sound better with the shower's acoustics. :-P
I shower sing! Usually big soaring ballads from musicals, because our bathroom has fantastic acoustics and I sound vaguely like I know what I'm doing. 'Winner Takes it All' is a current favourite.
Holly: I know. :( I thought I was used to it but I still sometimes get a bit choked up singing it. I think it's good cos it's a story so it's easy to remember - you don't keep singing the same line over and over!
Brooke: I like 'Silent House' too. A movie based on Travellin' Soldier? It's funny, I was thinking when I was posting it that if it was a movie I'd probably refuse to watch it but somehow the song isn't so bad.
Ally: Been there... 'Winner Takes it All' is a good one.
Jenny: By "been there", do you mean literally as in, you've sung in Ally's bathroom? Sorry. Had to ask. Amusing visual.
