Wordles

At wordle.net you can input a bunch of words of a URL and get a pretty (and highly customizable!) one of these awesome thingies. The first is my blog a couple of days ago and the second is my blog after I added, in case you couldn't guess, the atheism meme.

I always thought Wordles were those puzzles where common phrases are represented in clever visual ways, like these:

ALLworld

It's a small world after all.

stand
I

I understand.

MCE MCE MCE

Glory and an invisible chocolate fish to the first commenter to answer this one. :-)

The beauty of a pun is in the 'Oy!' of the beholder. (I don't know who came up with this one.)

Ooh! I know! 3 blind mice! Coz they have no eyes (Is)! :D

OMG I love the second Wordle! Did you set the word atheist to come up huge, or did it just do that on its own? My two massive words were "something" and "oliver". Odd.

Yup :-)

The second one was after I posted the meme.

Yay! Lol I think the only reason I guessed that was because you'd showed it to me before and had to explain it. But still, I can has chocolate fish for memory recall, right? :D

Guess who is right now attempting to code her own Wordpress theme entirely from scratch? *nerd*

I want a wordle!
I love those word puzzles. At my primary school we called them dingbats, but every other person looks at me funny when I call them that lol.

And just so you know, the wordles link isn't right - it links to www.blogspot.com/www.wordles.net Delete this after reading! :D

Holly: Yes, you can has fish. =D

Brooke: Dingbats like the font? That kind of makes sense...

Ooh, thanks. I meant to check that... *fixes link*

@ Jenny: Actually I don't know if it's supposed to be like the font - I'd never thought of that till you mentioned it! That does make sense. Somewhere else calls them something else. Like a *something*gram. Or a Rhom*something*. Rhombogram? nooo.... *gives up*

LMAO binglort.

Also, I can't find how to get one of those things on the wordles site. Am I being really blonde or is it just a bit cryptically located? I swear I've been through every section of the site at least twice.

Lol yames. Like James, but spoken by the guy from 'The Whole Nine Yards'.

Brooke: Binglort? WTF!?
As for the Wordle, try the "Create" link at the very top of the homepage. ;)

The rhom- rings a bell for me too... Binglort though?! Lol.

The link I made should go straight to the Create page. You can either put in a bunch of words of your choosing or copy+paste a URL to create a wordle of that page.
